Drought School is looking for individuals to fill the following positions:
Assistant/Aide
Looking for a knowledgeable and passionate self-starter to support our young learners. The candidate will support the classroom environment and student supervision as needed throughout the building. The schedule will begin as soon as possible; Monday through Friday from 8:00-1:30. Candidate must possess a 0070 or be eligible and willing to pursue such a license through the Wisconsin DPI. Duties may include: Carry out instruction support plans as directed by teacher or administrator Assist in the implementation of accommodations in the school setting Supervise students on the playground and other designated areas Assist in the preparation and/or production of instructional materials Make appropriate and acceptable decisions should unanticipated situations arise Communicate student performance and progress to the special education teacher Assist with daily living skills and independent skills Take care of hygiene needs as necessary Complete a communication log if directed by the teacher or administrator Provide/support student behavioral interventions Implement written academic and/or behavioral plans specified by student IEP Provide feedback related to student performance Lift and/or transfer
Salary/Wage:
$11-$13/hourly (depending on qualifications)
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Must have or have the ability to acquire the Special Education Aide license (0070) through the Deptment of Public Instruction. Prior experience working with students is preferred.

Drought School is seeking a highly qualified teacher to join our team this winter. The ideal candidate will have certification in science and enjoy working with students in 5th - 8th grades. Additional certificaations are desirable.

Long Term Substitute - Special Education
Drought School is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team secon semester as a long term substitute for students in k4-2nd grade. The ideal candidate will be certified in special education pre-kindergarten-3rd grade. Additional certification in regular educations is desirable.
Salary/Wage:
$125/day

Substitute Teachers
Drought School, a rural school in western Racine County serving students in K4-8th grade, is currently looking to add certified teachers to our substitute teacher database to call as needed throughout the 2018/2019 school year.

$110/full day
