• About Us

Drought School is the only school in the Norway J7 School District (we are not a part of the Racine Unified School District). We are located on the corners of Highway 45 and 7 Mile Road in Franksville, Wisconsin. Our district is 8 square miles wide.

We instruct Kindergarten through 8th grade, and also offer a 4 Year Old Kindergarten program featuring licensed instructors.

Our school hours are 7:35 A.M. - 2:35 P.M.  Lunch is served at 10:30 a.m. for the lower grade students (K-4th) and again at 11:30 a.m. for the upper grade students (5th-8th).  Hot lunch is offered daily by Taher, Inc.

Drought School averages around 85 students a year.  Our class sizes in 2016-17 ranged from 8 to 15.  Open School Enrollment students made up about 30% of our enrollment. The majority of our in-district students feed into the Waterford District.

Drought School offers extra-curricular activities for the 5th - 8th grades such as softball, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, and track & field.
