The unique nature of Drought School pours out of the students, staff and teachers upon walking through the doors. Drought is rooted in a long and strong history within its community. One of the truly great things about this public school is our ability to be adaptable and versatile; looking into the future to always help better aid the students, staff, and community. This is why we continue to serve the school through our work on the board.

NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
NORWAY J7 SCHOOL DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE NORWAY J7 SCHOOL
DISTRICT, RACINE COUNTY, that a school board election will be held on April 7, 2026, and
primary election to be held on February 17, 2026, if necessary, to fill two board positions,
currently held by Mr. Chris Drought and Mrs. Ingrid Lang. Both positions are three-year terms
ending April 2029. Information regarding the district boundaries can be found at the school
district office.
An elector desiring to be a candidate for a position on the school board must verify they are a
resident of the Norway J7 School District by contacting the District Office at 262-895-7778, file a
“Sworn Declaration of Candidacy” along with a “Campaign Registration Statement” with the
Norway J7 School District in the Superintendent’s Office at Drought School, located at 21016 7
Mile Rd. Franksville, Wisconsin, 53126 between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on
Mondays through Fridays except holiday-observance days, mailed to the address noted below,
or filed personally, to arrive prior to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
