Thank you Norway Community Fund!

Norway Community Fund generously donated towards Drought School's playground upgrades. The school was able to use community funding and PTO funding to install a beautiful GaGa Ball Pit for the students to play in. It is being used daily!

 

Buddy Bench in partnership with Scherrer Construction

As part of  its mission to build kindness in communities, Scherrer Construction has established its own Buddy Bench Program, an anti-bullying initiative, which provides schools with a customized buddy bench to help spread kindness and build friendships.

 

 

Drought School is deeply rooted in the Norway and Franksville communities, actively engaging students, families, and local residents through a variety of enriching activities. Throughout the school year, we host events such as seasonal activities, family nights, and community service projects, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration. These activities not only enhance the educational experience but also strengthen the ties between the school and the community, allowing us to celebrate our shared values and traditions.

Some of our signature events include our annual Trunk or Treat, Winter Concert, Spring Concert, and Spring Craft Fair, where students, families, and community members come together for games, food, and entertainment. These events not only provide a fun atmosphere but also raise funds for school programs and local charities, reinforcing our commitment to giving back to the community.
