Drought School may be listed by itself, or with Waterford High School.  We are NOT part of  the Racine Unified School District.  

There may be times where school will be DELAYED 2 hours instead of closed.  In this event, students will be required to be at school at 9:35 a.m. instead of 7:35 a.m.  Those riding buses will still be able to ride the bus, but their times for pickup will be 2 hours later than their normally scheduled time.

IT'S REGISTRATION TIME!

TALENT SHOW - THANK YOU!

Drought's 1st Annual Talent Show Thursday, April 25th was a huge success.  Everyone was blown away by the talent of our students!  Thanks to the students, staff, and parents for all your preparation and hard work! 

LOWER GRADE EARTH DAY ASSEMBLY - THANK YOU

Our kindergarteners through 4th graders enjoyed learning more about the animals we see locally on our piece of the planet from Wisconsin Wildlife Expert, Kathleen Tober, Monday, April 22nd.  A big thank you to Kathleen!

Drought PTO's next meeting is Wednesday, June 12th at 6:30pm.  We hope you can join us. 

NO NUTS, NO PETS PLEASE!

Due to a number of students who have severe allergies we ask that you do not bring any nuts (including cashews) into the building, as well as pets unless you have been given prior authorization from the office. 

Also, please alert the office of any  allergies your child may have if you have not already done so.

 

WATER QUALITY

You may have read in the April - May Edition of the Waterford Wolverine Report that there was a concern about the water quality at Drought School.  That was an error/misprint.  Please feel free to read Mrs. Reid's February letter on this topic: Water Quality (can also be accessed with the Newsletters and Calendars link to the left)

From the PTO...

A big THANK YOU to all the staff in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week May 6-11.  We recognize how lucky we are that our staff is very committed to their profession and provide our kids with an outstanding education every day.  We Thank You for your efforts!

 

PTO would like to thank all the families that made our Family Fun Night such a huge success.  The food was plentiful and judging by the number of families out on the dance floor, a good time was had by all.

 

For those of you who attended our free Family Movie Nights this school year - Thank You!  We look forward to hosting you again next year.
